A NEW FACILITY COMBINING MULTIPLE DIVISIONS
The county's new vehicle maintenance building consolidates the sign, roads, bridges, and vehicle maintenance divisions under one roof for the first time in decades. The new building and division adjacencies were designed to increase efficiencies and maintain the comradery shared amongst staff and crew members. The new Public Works Administration building was designed to replace their existing 1950s facility that disjointed department functions and cohesiveness. The new building reorganized six department division adjacencies to allow for much more efficient and productive workflows. Amenities such as the smart conference rooms, file/print corral, break rooms and map vault are now located under a single roof.
