HYDRO EXCAVATION AND EARTHMOVING
San Joaquin County commissioned an expansion to the popular Micke Grove Park in 2007. Diede Construction, Inc. was awarded this contract through competitive bid. The expansion included a 3-acre lake, augmented by a 40-foot water fountain. Related to this was the children's water play area, which included a large shade structure that now covers over 40 picnic tables. New park roads were requested around the park perimeter to maximize the available green space. Lastly, we were to move several valley oak trees, already present within the park, into the new expansion.
We worked alongside Hydro-X, who provided pot holing excavation services in preparation for the installation of new parking lots, restrooms, walkways, and other amenities. Hydro excavation was used to pot hole new trenches into existing lines. Diede Construction handled all above-ground work, including the necessary earth moving required for the installation of a new fishing and boating pond.
