A COMMUNITY VISION
This project is a new Community Pool constructed for the County of Stanislaus, Empire community. The project is the culminations of the community banding together after the tragic loss of the Yepez Brothers, who drowned in an irrigation ditch. The project was funded by generous donations of a very low income community and funding was limited. With this design build project delivery system Diede was able to deliver the project within the available funding.
The project consisted of extensive site work including over excavating the site 4' and re-compacting; installing utility lines, water, sewer, storm, deck drains; lap pool; wading pool with a play structures / water feature; pool pumps; concrete deck and flat work. The project also included two split face CMU buildings under a single wood truss metal panel roof system; including equipment rooms, electrical room, offices, concession stand and locker rooms. The finished project completed the vision of the community and now children can learn to swim in a supervised environment.
